SpeakLoop Privacy Policy

SpeakLoop is an iOS app for English speaking practice. The app turns user-entered topics into English dialogs, playback practice, and vocabulary review.

SpeakLoop is provided by Spencer Chiang, trading as NxLayer.

When you generate a dialog, the topic you enter and your selected practice settings are sent to SpeakLoop's backend service so the requested dialog and vocabulary can be generated.

This information is used to provide the app's core functionality and is not used for advertising or tracking.

SpeakLoop uses backend services and OpenAI APIs to generate English practice dialogs and vocabulary from the topic you enter. OpenAI API keys are stored on the backend and are not stored in the iOS app.

Generated dialogs, vocabulary cards, review progress, language settings, and a device-specific client identifier are stored on your device so you can practice saved content again.

SpeakLoop offers consumable in-app purchases for generation credits. Apple processes payment information. SpeakLoop receives transaction information needed to add credits and prevent duplicate redemption of the same purchase.

SpeakLoop does not require account registration. We do not sell personal data. If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address and any details you choose to include.

Support information is used only to respond to your request.

Content saved inside the app can be removed by deleting the app or clearing app data on your device. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to your request and maintain support records. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
