What is SpeakLoop?
SpeakLoop is an English speaking-practice app for iOS and Android. You type a topic from daily life, it generates an English dialog, and you practise by listening, following along and repeating the lines out loud.
What can I use for free?
Two dialogs are included in the app, and you can generate three new dialogs of your own at no cost. Replaying a dialog you already saved never uses credits, so you can repeat it as often as you like.
Do I need a certain English level?
No. The dialogs are everyday situations, and you can start with about five minutes of following along. As speaking gets easier, you can add more time or pick harder topics.
Does it listen to me speak?
Yes, when you practise speaking the app uses your device's speech recognition to turn your voice into text. SpeakLoop receives only the recognised text, and does not store, replay or share your recordings.
Is there an Android version?
Yes. SpeakLoop is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
Where are my dialogs stored?
Saved dialogs, vocabulary cards and review progress are stored on your device. SpeakLoop does not require an account.
